Robert Fogarty

My backstory is that I graduated in my early 30s with a postgraduate Marketing degree. Then I found employment in website content management at my local University. Conencdenlty, from the same University I graduated a year earlier. 

I went to University in my early ’30s because I wanted to change my career from sports management to marketing. However, I was unsure which marketing area I would end up in. I luckily found myself working in website content management. My goals are to continue my digital marketing experience by working on more projects and self-publish more content.

Why do I enjoy writing about marketing?

I am a blue-sky thinker who always thinks about digital marketing concepts. So when I see examples of digital marketing in the real world, it always gets me thinking. Storing these ideas and thoughts to let others know about my ideas is why I enjoy writing about digital marketing. 

My Hobbies

I am a huge sports fan, including football, basketball, and rugby. On some weekends, I referee football matches in my local area. I enjoy refereeing because refereeing challenges me to push myself and be a benefit to the local football community.

Competed in a hamster wheel race at halftime in front of a cup game crowd watching Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Rescued two disabled cats. Billy and Sidney. 

1st place in the shot put high school sports day. 

My writing process

I use resources that I have created myself to support my writing. These resources include a writing stylesheet, vocabulary and grammar reference sheet. To proofread, I use Hemmingway online editor and Grammarly as tools to assist in proofreading.
